From a young age having a fascination with Technology and an inquisitive nature ensured that all new gadgets were promptly dissected to gain an understanding of how they actually worked.
This led me to a world of Designing, Engineering and Programming Industrial Mechatronics Processes for large scale companies, such as Nestle Foods working on greenfield sites from input to output.
Along side Engineering I developed a passion for health, wellness and helping people, I transitioned into the role of Firefighter within the Department of Defence. With specialist skills in Fast Jet Crash Firefighting, High Angle Rope Rescue, Emergency Medical Technician and part of a Road Traffic Extrication Team travelling the country competing and demonstrating these skills to others.
These diverse experiences culminated in a move to Australia from the UK in 2007 with my wife Claire.
I saw some similarities between Industrial Mechatronics and Luxury Home Automation and how scaled down versions of the Industrial world were being used in high end domestic smart homes, I could envisage the decentralisation of Automation making a progressive move to IP based smart equipment within the industry sector.
This is where in 2015 our business Simplifi Automation was created, which in my mind would ensure every project took the approach of Quicker-Faster-Better, through decentralised implementation of large scale homes for high profile individuals.
This allowed our small Elite team to deliver budget and time constrained projects, coupled with first class Customer Relations developed in-house.
Through relationship building we delivered a World First ‘Retrofit’ IP based MDU solution to 36 apartments, in partnership with ‘Snap One’, a Billion dollar Tech company in the USA.

Emigrating from the UK to Australia in 2007 with my now husband Tim, we settled on the beautiful Sunshine Coast which we are still very grateful to call home.
In the UK being employed by 'Anglia' one of the largest distributors globally for Electronic Components, I thrived in assisting people in all areas of the business whilst fulfilling a role in Customer Service.
Since calling Australia home and gaining the required qualifications, I started my career in childcare, nurturing & educating children from babies through to kindy, building relationships and trust with their families.
I diversified into Corporate Reception for Budget Direct, a fun, all round thoroughly enjoyable role in which I build great rapport with so many individuals and assisted with daily procedures and challenges at all levels within the business.
My final and current transition saw me move full time into our own business, Simplifi Automation which Tim & I created in 2015.
